The last professional hockey team in Seattle. The Seattle Totems existed from 1958 to 1975, playing in the old professional Western Hockey League and one season (1974-75) in the Central Hockey League. The Totems won three league championships in 1959, 1967 and 1968. Mostly an independent franchise having working agreements with various NHL clubs, the Totems eventually became the farm club for the Vancouver Canucks from 1970 to 1975.
This was the Totems' second logo, which was introduced in 1966. The stylized lettering in the team name was introduced in 1971, both being used until the team folded in 1975.
